Daily Prompt: Crossing

I’m at a crossing,
An exhausting,
Ever trotting along.
Walking
I have approached the crossing,
Come to a screeching stop.
Either path,
I must stick with.
One tangling with creeping vines,
Dark and foggy.
The other sunny,
Green grass gleaming.
Both have good,
Both have bad.
But which one will make me glad,
Because I know what looks good,
Is not always as it appears,
And what looks bad,
Is not always so.
I must choose a path though,
Pick one and let all worries go.
