I have looked at my friends for years, wondering why I have felt an ever widening gap in our friendship. Saying they have changed and it sucks! Now I’m realizing; I’m the one who has changed and they have remained the same. Is that good or bad? I don’t know. Whatever I guess they do not fit in my new image. Does that make me a bad person?

No, I wouldn’t say that makes you a bad person. Over time, friendships change – it happens. This year, I lost three friends, and while it did hurt, I realized the friends I lost were never true friends, to begin with. When we get older, we see who our real friends are – the ones who grown with us and support us through hard times.
